Even though this book is 20 years old(1993)it gives a quite insightful look at Islamist terrorism, what motivates them, how they operate and their support networks. Including the nations involved. The title is a bit misleading as only the last two chapters are about terrorism in America. The first chapters are about why they are terrorists, their training and who trains them. The middle chapters are about how they operate in Europe.
It answered a few questions I had about how they operate and how they can deflect attention away from themselves afterwards. Anyone interested in this subject should give this book a read. My only real criticism is that the book could have been shorter.
