I found and read the 1947 version, I really do not know if it differs from later copies, but anyhow,... it is 'Quite a book'. . . an amazing read about the lost cities buried deep within head-hunter territory where few venture and still less return... A lot of research comes together in a small book... Indiana Jones must have read the book to make the movie... (
