This book is about a family who is having a matzah ball contest during Passover meal. Its great to have children read books about different cultures to open their minds to different ideas/lifestyles. I thought the illustrations in this book were funny because they have their own distinctive style. Also on each there would be a small picture on top of the page that gave little preview of what this page was about.
Touching story of child making matzoh balls with grandmother
Rated "Indifferent" in our old book database by Rod; rated "Good" by Adelia.
The humble matzah ball is the vehicle of transmission of Jewish tradition from generation to generation.
