A sweet look at the author's wedding day also offers up some rambling thoughts and digressions on marriage and marriage equality in general. ( )

I was not hostile to this but mostly found it a little boring. I don't necessarily need a lot of plot, especially in diary style graphic novel, but I think in the absence of a driving plot one needs some kind of thematic or dramatic through-line. This felt like "we got married and felt happy but sort of whatever about it and uh-oh, our right to marriage could still very well be threatened by conservatism. the end" without much emotional connection or punch.
