Our copy, which I bought 2nd-hand in 1984, appears to be deeply outdated. Looking in it for French homework, we found "shoe" given as "soulier" rather than "chaussure", which has been standard since at least the early 1970s. It's going on the Out Pile in favour of a new one (probably the Oxford-Hachette if it is still available and up to date).
