Any excuse to pore over Edward Gorey's marvelous illustrations, and the quirky stories by Neumeyer are just an added bonus.
A cute, but not cutesy, tale about a young boy named Donald and his new pet. Can't say much more about the plot without giving away the appropriately non-cute twist at the end. Edward Gorey's illustrations are a perfect complement to Peter Neumeyer's story.
Twisted little story about the small white worm Donald finds at the bottom of the trash can, illustrated by the inimitable Gorey.
Wonderful
