I love some of the pieces in this book. I think of "Hank the Tree" every Christmas, for example, and the review of beers still makes me smile. In fact, I worked at a pizza place at the time the "Another Pointless Review of Beers" piece ran in the St. Paul Pioneer Press Dispatch. One of the delivery drivers and I were discussing that column, and Lileks ordered his weekly Friday night dinner. Dennis asked him about the piece, and got the five remaining cans of Harley Davidson Heavy beer as his tip. He was delighted!

Mine is signed including the author's old Green Mill order of a medium dep dish pizza, half sausage and half pepperoni, with extra sauce.
Fun, Dave Barry-esque kinda ruminating on every day things.
