I kept waiting for something to happen and, pretty much, it never did. The characters are as weak as in today's sci-fi (yes, that weak), by the end of the book there was no one of interest at all. Read other Tolstoy. This early novel is, maybe, the author working out what his voice is. no reviews | add a review
