Though it has elements in common with the much better series beginning, Book Three is mostly a muddled mess of rape, murder, and chaos. There are characters in there I very much wanted to know more about; too bad, Fisher had nothing to say.
I found this book a struggle to finish. The constant changing of characters I found irritating and it seemed to meander all over the place, but eventually finished with a flourish.
