Read/Reading at least these:

~ Road to Granville (1985) short story by Joseph Payne Brennan - 4* - A fantastic 80s "horror" story. A man is traveling past an area that used to be home to a community in the late 1800s. It's a hot day and his car overheats. He sets out to get some water for the radiator but things get a bit topsy turvy when he gets to the watering hole.

~ The Visitor (1985) short story by Leanne Frahm - 2* - a young woman is narrating the story to us. An old woman she lives with has a visitor from an old friend. I think it's supposed to be like a Sixth Sense reveal with the younger woman being a ghost but I'm not really sure. Someone is an unreliable narrator. Didn't care for it enough to back read and look for clues for a show more deeper understanding

~ Intimately, with Rain (1978) short story by Janet Fox - 2* - I may re-read this some day if I gain some dryad lore knowledge because I didn't really understand some things. What was that she pulled out of the tree? Who was that she was sensing around her all the time? I don't how the title relates to the story either.
