Accurately evokes the combination of jet lag and culture shock but it necessarily includes that mental state's lack of excitement.

A good film about people biding their time w/ nothing to do in a strange place.
Two people with unhappy marriages meet and hang out in Tokyo.

It evokes something. And with these two leads, you can't really go wrong.
