I must admit when young I was in love with Miss Bianca, and she is still delightfully elegant and feminine. This story is 4 instead of 5 only because she is rescuing Mandrake, the contemptible servant from whom she rescued a helpless child in a previous story. The illustrations by Garth Williams have a matching elegance.
Just as good as the last. Ah, Miss Bianca! The Garth Williams illustration are especially entertaining.
