Had me absolutely hooked for the first 2/3rds and then absolutely fell apart toward the end. Great dialogue. Great reader. Just a terrible fizzle of an ending.
Classic Elmore Leonard. Very flawed characters, almost all criminals, more cunning than smart. Tons of double crossing. Lots of victims - most of them also perpetrators.

I enjoyed this book - a bit dated and sexist, but still a fun read. A mafia boss dies and leaves his wife a lot of money. But the money comes with strings. It also comes with a few small time criminals trying to get their hands on the money. Lot of bumbling intrigue and a bit of suspense, but a very satisfying ending.

A whacky crime book by Elmore Leonard.
Takes place in Florida, except the very beginning and is filled with crosses and double crossses. Has 1 crazy killer and multiple characters who aren’t terribly bright.
A fun book.
"Gold Coast" is another perfect Elmore Leonard book. This one set in Florida with the usual great characters and story line. Somewhat of a mild surprise ending.
kind of blah. villain was semi-entertaining, everyone else not so much.
