In this classic story, a set of four collie pups grow up through a year and experience each season with its surprises and fun (playing in leaves in fall, in the snow in winter, etc). As they get bigger they notice their changes in size by the fact that the front steps they romp down are easier and easier to traverse.
My five year old liked this.
