I think that this is a fun way to get information to children, but some of it was a bit dense even for me. I think I most enjoyed the smaller blurbs about women and the satirical approach that accompanied it, since most ideas about women were less than flattering back then. I also suspect that this is geared towards a slightly more masculine audience. I think that overall it would have benefited from more of the fluffier pieces towards the end being dispersed more evenly throughout the entire thing.
