Matthew was co-authored by father and son, G. Jerome Albrecht and Michael J. Albrecht. G. Jerome was originally commissioned to write the entire volume. When the Lord called him to his eternal rest in May of 1992, he h... (show all)ad completed the commentary on the first 18 chapters. Shortly after his father's death, Michael was commissioned to complete his father's work. In doing this, Michael researched his father's sermon files on Matthew texts so that he would reflect his father's thoughts and insights on Matthew as much as possible.
