[Foreword] In this age of chemistry as the “central science” around which are ordered the worlds of the living and of the nonliving, there are many breakthroughs which startle even the most sophisticated.
[Introduction] This is a book about a controversial, even taboo, subject. It deals with a group of drugs which affect the mind and affect it profoundly.
