Addams is famous for creating the "Addams Familu" who later were featured on TV and in films, but in fact a large proportion of these cartoons are not about the "family" characters. There are some other continuing themes, such as tiny little people in unexpected places --building an igloo in a refrigerator freezer, for example. Others are simply one-shot cartoons, some grim, some not --a car full of skeletons driving out of Death Valley, for instance, or (in the "not" variety) a cherub cleaning stained glass windows in a church.
