This book was all about birds. If I ever have a student in my class that has a question about birds, I would definitely recommend this book. I learned some intersecting facts about birds. Did you know that an ostrich can weigh up to 345 pounds? Or that their beak never stop growing? I also think that this is a good book to share with my kids to inform them about birds. ( )

If a student ever has a question about birds, this is the book I would recommend to them. This book goes through almost every question asked about birds. Holub gives great explanations to the questions asked while showing great realistic pictures to describe the birds for the more visual learners. This book was not my favorite, but I can see one of my students who is interested in birds truly loving this book and wanting to share all about it. I would use this book to teach about the bird species, but I would probably not read it to my students, however, I would use some information from it and show pictures during the bird lesson. ( )

This is a very neat book for young children. It provides pictures of many different types of birds with thier names. It also includes answers to commonly asked questions such as how do birds fly, how do baby birds grow, when do birds sleep. I think this is very informational, yet easy to read. ( )

Thee book generally tells us why birds behave the way that they do. It also has advice for anyony looking to have a bird as a pet.
