Sequel to [Silverhorse]. Apprentice Rider Kat finally has the chance of bonding with her own hellhorse, if only she can keep out of trouble with the authorities for a few more weeks... but a chance favour done for a stranger and a seemingly innocent friendship involve her in the murky and deadly waters of Bredan politics and it isn't long before she is fighting for her life.

Rattling good YA fantasy, with an edge-of-the-seat finale.
