I am obliged to disqualify myself from properly reviewing this book.

My own direct and personal experience of each of these six regions – except perhaps the theft, insects, pestilence and corruption – is so far, far different from that described by the various selected ‘celebrities’ that are invited to fly in (or perhaps fly-by) by a major TV Corporation at their expense, accompanied by no more than six or seven crew members, guides and minders result in such a politically-correct distortion of those cultures that I was unable to finish even one complete chapter.

You may enjoy it, particularly if you have not visited these destinations before, as it is certainly widely dispersed, with trips to Africa, Australia, the Caribe, Asia show more and Mexico.

However; these would not be my choice or recommendation of GREAT journeys.
