Jake's Review: This is a really great book to help kids like me get over their worries. The author put everything into words I could understand. She never made me feel weird about having all these worries. The ways in which she suggests that I can get rid of my worries make sense and I hope they will work (Mom's note: please, please, please let them work) I like the pictures, they are really funny and the way the author explains things makes sense. I liked the activity pages, they were fun and they helped me. I think this book would be very helpful to tons of kids I know -- except for Brian who has no worries. I wish there were more examples of worries and ways to help those type of worries. Like that I think there are monsters chasing show more me up the stairs. I also wish the book was longer and had more fun activities in it. I think sometimes the book is more for younger kids than kids my age.

Jake's Rating: 9.5/10

Mom's Review: Fantastic. Great Ideas, easy to read with language that kids will understand. Jake and I worked together on this and hopefully some of the activities will help him out. I seriously recommend this as a great starter workbook for parents who's kids have anxiety issues. Now off to find a copy of this that we can keep. This really worked for us

This book uses a story style to help children and parents gain new skills to help manage anxiety. A useful guide for a parent to encourage a child who is anxious. uses American terminology e.g. "Shot" for injection rather than gun!
This book explains to children what anxiety is. It also teaches children how to control their anxiety. This book would be very helpful to children who suffer from anxiety.
