Every change is a challenge to become who we really are
Williamson brilliantly weaves a vast spiritual teaching on the "gifts" that changes bring to us and the spiritual meaning behind it all.
These teachings come in essay form and anecdotes from her own life. This is what Marianne does best: she teaches what she has learned in her own life concerning mainly A Course in Miracles, but she also draws on other sources such as Buddhism and her Jewish faith.

the only way to gain power in a world that is moving too fast is to learn to slow down. The world we want for ourselves and our children will not emerge from electronic speed but rather from a spiritual stillness that takes root in our souls.
