Artfully vibrant and eye-catching, this picture book takes a reasonably accurate adventure out of Earth's orbit and makes it kid friendly and easy to follow. I could easily see this book getting young readers excited about science lessons.
This is a cute book for the space lover in your class, especially to develop rhyming skills. It's about a cute little boy heading off to the moon, the pictures are bright and draw you in and the language flows easily as you read, as almost a song. Cute.
A young boy goes into space on a rocket ship. He eventually lands on the moon and then comes back home. This is a very easy book to read, but it does have a lot of information in it that could be expanded on. One part of the book involves the rocket blasting off, and this can turn into the students practicing counting. There are also different elements of space mentioned in the book that can be elaborated on, such as asteroids, comets, and the lunar rover. Overall, I enjoyed this book and think it could be useful for younger students.
critique: this is a good fantasy fiction book for children who love the moon and outer space and one day consider going there, it is fantasy fiction because a young boy would not go to the moon by himself.
Style: this book uses the element of rhyme very effectively to get across the ideas that the author desires, makes it a lot of fun!

In this book, a boy takes a trip to the moon and back. Each phase of the trip is described in rhyme and with exaggerated pictures to match.
Fantasy fiction book about a boy who gets in a spaceship and takes a dangerous but exciting trip to the moon. Great for first grade.
The story follows a boy through the process of flying a ship into space and onto the moon. The boy gets to the moon and then flies back home to earth!
