Description

John Goodrum is new to the town and doesn't know to watch out for Clanger Bell, the local drunk. He runs over him, but the coroner rules the death an accident. John and his new wife, Felicity are relieved that he has been absolved of all guilt, but not everyone believes in his innocence. The victim's daughter calls in Detective Chief Inspector Douglas Quantrill and his attractive sergeant, Hilary Lloyd, to register her suspicions and to say why Goodrum had a motive.
