The Fabulous Girl's Guide to Decorum

Try as I might, I just could not manage to slog my way through this. Full of over-the-top, this-would-never-apply-in-my-life situations and examples, I finally had to give in and admit defeat. Perhaps I'm not as fabulous as I thought, but it could also be that the authors of "The Fabulous Girl's Guide to Decorum" are simply not as fabulous as THEY thought.

This was quite cute and there are a few things in here that made me want to run out and buy copies for various people I've known through the years. There is very little in here that a person couldn't figure out on their own, but Izzo and Marsh make it fun

This is a fun little modern book of manners but i think the girls take themselves a little too seriously at times (or maybe that's just me)

dipende un po' da come si prende questo libro.
se lo si legge come un commento ironico sulle giovani di oggi le le loro trappole mentali, allora può anche essere divertente ...
ma se lo si prende seriamente ... diventa un drammatico inseguimento di stereotipi americani.
lo stile è semplice, ma scorrevole; si alternano delle raccomandazioni su come diventare una disincantata donna di classe, a disavventure di genere vario ed eventuale che raccontano come la protagonista tenda un po' a fallire il tuo tentativo di diventare una FBgirl... mah
