I really like the concept of arranging a cookbook alphabetically by major ingredients: in the 1980s I had a whole looseleaf notebook based on that idea. Opening the cookbook at the store to skim it, I discovered a zucchini raita recipe that I want to try as soon as possible and a method for freezing pumpkin that is new to me. Sold! It wasn't till I went to enter it on LibraryThing that I realized that it's published by Garden Way, the same folks who put out my favourite bread cookbook. Well, no wonder it keeps mentioning the Squeezo tomato strainer, one of my favourite harvest appliances! This book is definitely a keeper.

This book is Garden Way's companion to "Joy of Gardening."
