Novelist Kathleen Thompson Norris was born in San Francisco, California on July 16, 1880. She was educated in a special course at the University of California. She married fellow author Charles Norris in 1909. She was the highest-paid female writer of her time. She also contributed to numerous magazines including McClure's, Ladies' Home Journal, show more and Woman's Home Companion. She died on January 18, 1966. (Bowker Author Biography) show less
