Description
"Tells the story of King Zhou, the fated last ruler of the Shang Dynasty and one of the most notorious tyrants in Chinese history. Zhou was cruel and lascivious and worst of all, deluded by his beautiful concubine Daji (who was, according to this novel, a fox sprite). He was finally defeated by King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty who, with Jiang Ziya's help, rebelled and sent an army to punish the tyrant for his cruelty to the people. King Zhou lost his throne and burned himself to show more death."--Translator's note. show lessTags
