The longest book in the series but it doesn't suffer for it. It definitely had some moments that left me cringing and feeling embarrassed for people, and honestly, those kind of moments turn me off a book. I didn't like how some characters weren't present much. I think these books really need to start focusing on the likes of Heath and what he gets up to again.

TEMPTED begins exactly where the last book, LUCKY, left off.
In the beginning of this novel, Callie Vernon is relentlessly lusting after Easy Walsh. The only thing stopping her from having Easy is the fact that he can't stand her. After he found out that she and Tinsley Carmichael tried to get Jenny Humphrey expelled, he wanted nothing to do with her. Callie knows that Easy is her prince. As the annual Halloween Ball approaches, Callie must decide on the most fabulous costume that will convince Easy that he is the one for her.
Meanwhile, Jenny has become something of a legend around campus. There aren't many people who can escape being expelled like she did. But who is her mystery savior? Someone show more spent thousands of dollars to make sure that she stayed at Waverly, but who?
Overall, this novel was amazing. Cecily von Ziegesar has created yet another spectacularly-written addition to the IT GIRL series. It was almost impossible to put this book down. It was suspenseful and interesting all at the same time. If you are a fan of any of the IT GIRL novels, this book will not disappoint you! show less

Waverly is haveing the annual Halloween party. This is the place where old flames get back together, classmates show new interests in eachother, and other couples have very public breakups. As if this weren't enough, the drama continues when people's secrets are revealed, others go missing from campus, and the waverly students start to realize how they truely are precieved.
I enjoyed this book, mostly because I have read the previous books in the series, and I like to follow through with the character's stories. I don't think it was the best, but it was still a good read.

Cecily von Ziegesar was born in New York City on June 27, 1970. She was educated at the Nightingale-Bamford School in Manhattan, Colby College in Maine, and the University of Arizona, where she studied creative writing. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked for a radio station in Budapest, a publishing company in London, and a book show more packaging firm in New York City. She writes the Gossip Girl series and The It Girl series. Many of her story ideas come from her prep school days at the Nightingale-Bamford School.
