A sobering collection of articles written for the Guardian newspaper (UK). The topics are diverse and range from the influence of evangelical Christians on US foreign policy to climate change deniers to the impact of second home ownership, plus many others. This book will get you angry. In particular, his articles regarding the Iraq war (written prior and during) will get you mad, as most of his predictions come to pass. Monbiot's writing is brilliant and devastating. No holds barred about the messed up state of the world.
A collection of Monbiot's columns from The Guardian. Forceful, clear, well researched, and compelling.
i enjoyed this very much while reading but when not reading i couldn't remember much???
