For those people who already kind of know their way around the forest, and are more interested in what they are going to see ASSOCIATED with the plants they see than what an Audobon book says, this is a naturalist's dream come true!

This was more of a field guide than a narrative sort of nature book. So I skipped around and read the entries for some of the species that most interested me.
these books were crucial when I was researching the Adirondacks and needed detailed information and the finest kind of observations.
