The money storyline made me uncomfortable and its wildly fatphobic >:(
This is one of my favorite Sammy Keyes books. Some parts were a little slow, but they're made up for by others. Sammy is such an amazing character; she's relatable and not a perfect person. I love the Sammy/Casey interaction, and I absolutely can't wait for the next book! It's too bad that there's only going to be eight more books in the series.
Sammy Keyes is a character present in this series of mysteries. In this one, Sammy needs to decide what to do with a dying man's wish of throwing his money away. Who throws money away and why is it so important to him that she does? She has better plans to do with the cash (new swimsuit). She almost spent the money until a stranger starts poking around the dead guy's personal life. Great book with cliffhangers at the end of every chapter.

Again, this book would be great for a modeled text to have students try to mimck mystery writing of their own.
This is one of my favorite series! It is suspenseful, funny, interesting, well-written, entertaining, and marvelous! This is definitely a great addition to the series. Everyone should read them.
