Was a sweet romance, if a bit naive. And a lot drawn out. But to be honest, this book is a bad nightmare one gets after watching too much Superman. At least for me it was. I just couldn’t believe in the characters, the plot, or even the world that was described. There was so much wrong, little and big. Izzy and Mordi weren’t even described until late in the book , and then only eye/hair color basically. So yeah, I couldn't even envision the characters at all. I gave it a 2 (but a 1.5 would be more accurate I think) simply because the love scene was good, but it didn’t occur until late in the book.
Mordi is getting a reputation for being a dedicated hunter of bad guys, trying to prove himself as being free of his father, the worlds most super villain. He and Isole are called to assess his father's honesty about wanting to turn a a new leaf. There are plots within plots and plans within plans and it will take the two of them to work together, but can they trust each other long enough to save the day and to solve the puzzle? What are they going to do about the growing attraction?

It's a chick-lit romance novel and there are some very predictable moments here, nothing serious, a park-your-brain read.

Book 4 in the Protector's series. There is a prequel to the series called Cat's Fancy. This is Mordi's story. He's a bad guy gone good--or is he? Very cute, funny romance with a lot of superhero elements and winks to conventions of the genre.
It was just ok as I really didn't find the humor in the storyline.
