Doghouse for Sale is about Freckles the dog who is not happy with his house so he decides to fix it up and sell it. But over time, realizes how great it is to live there.

I liked this book because of the theme. It teaches children to learn to love something they may not like instead of getting rid of it right away.

The ages/grade levels I would use this for is 3-7/preschool-2nd grade.
This book is a good example of a circular book. It is about a dog who wants to sell his house to get a new one and keeps fixing it and adding to it so that someone would want to buy it but in the end he just ends up keeping it.

I liked this book because it teaches kids that just because they don't like something doesn't mean you have to get rid of it and get something new.

I think that this book would be good for kids K-2nd.
Doghouse for sale was a very cute book! It teaches children that fixing up an old thing is greater than buying a new thing. The dog in this story is wanting to sell his doghouse and goes through a lot of trouble. He fixes it all up and decides to keep the finished product. I think is a great book for children because they get to learn about effort and determination. The grade level for this book would be pre-k.
Doghouse for Sale is a story about a dog who wants to sell his house, but ends up making a bunch of improvements to it and in the end wants to keep it for himself. This book is a good read for very young elementary or early childhood. Doghouse for Sale is a great book for teaching series of events and circular tales ending up where they began; also, this book has very good pictures to describe the plot.
This book is about a dog who wants to sell his house. Everyone keeps giving him idea of things he needs to change, so he makes the changes hoping someone will want to buy it. In the end, he ends up liking his own house and does not want to sell it. I think this book would be for younger elementary students.
This is a great book about a dog who wants to sell his old doghouse and get a new one. I like this book because it is a great story about taking pride in your work and not taking things for granted and I would use this in my classroom to introduce hard work and taking things for granted. This book is suitable for grades 1 and 2 and the main theme is hard work.
The dog is trying to sell his dog house. Nobody wants to buy it. They suggested why so he fixes it up. First with a new paint then a new bed, new window, flower bed and then a new fence. He made anew sign each time adding the improvement he made to the house. Then finally somebody wanted to buy it, but then he didn't want to sell it because he love it. I would use this book because it is a fun and simple book to enjoy. This book is enjoyable for grades pre-k through 1st.
