Purpose: Blomberg provides a reasonably thorough verse-by-verse commentary of the book of Matthew.
Depth: This is a technical commentary that uses the Greek and is familiar with most other contemporary scholarship.
Theological perspectives: Conservative, evangelical, covenantal
Evaluation: This is a useful volume that consistently provides good insights. It never really deals with dispensational perspectives though that is not surprising. It is a good study resource.
