Grayson Sinclair has decided family life wasn't for him until he meets his neighbor, Honor Malone. She's a widow with a daughter and her sister-in-law living with her. Having had a difficult marriage she wards off Grayson every chance she gets. Honor came to Lakeview, Virginia to start a new life and leave bad memories behind. Very soon after moving in though she starts receiving stranges gifts and phone calls. Who is after Honor? Will Grayson and Honor each let down their defenses and learn to trust?
This is book 2 in the Sinclair Brothers series. It was good but I liked The Guardian's Mission much better. I really never felt endeared to Honor. She was kind of a downer. Grayson was a good hero though. He continued to be persistant with show more Honor but I never really knew why. I was also disappointed that there was never any interaction with Tristan and Martha. They were mentioned only once. I guess I expected to have Grayson call on Tristan's experience in helping catch the stalker. Or just general family interaction as we had in book 1.
All-in-all is was a good read. It could be read as a stand alone even though it is part of a series. show less
