Shortly after finishing reading American Animal, I saw this book on sale at the store and bought it without even checking what the subject was. When I found out that it was about Monica Lewinsky and President Clinton, I was disappointed because I did not care about that topic, and it was all I had been hearing about for a period of months in the U.S. news back when it was actually happening. So when I started reading the book and started enjoying it, that was a good resolution to my earlier unease. Reading Eszterhas about Washington is just as much fun as when he talks about Hollywood. I hope he writes another book about non-Hollywood topics, and just American life in general. For example, if he would approach topics like homelessness, show more changes to health insurance laws and American war strategy. But maybe not, maybe it is better if he sticks to the topics he has already done. He knows better how to pick them than I do. show less
