A gorgeously produced bk by a great painter from a great art bk publisher. This is all details - wch is nice considering that the size of the bk, despite the excellent printing, wd make seeing full-size paintings a bit difficult.

(Click to show. Warning: May contain spoilers.)Through the planetary, molecular, monarchical, hallucinogenic, futuristic themes of exterior living reality the disintegrated remains of the image of the dead brother stand out in profile, to be completed after recalling the dreams and obsessions, in an infinite play of mirrored reflections of the multiple images of Venus (pp.150-51), reappearances of Dulla-Dullita, imaginary female twins of childhood, in this grandiose finale, in this cosmic apotheosis of all Dalinian mythology, in the center of the world which is the railway station at Perpignan: throwing mother and father aside, at whose feet lie the remains of the dead twin boys (the two sacks of potatoes), symbols of Victory over Death, leaving the butterfly Mao, symbol of the paternal lineage--Stalin--Lenin--William Tell (pp.152-53), the Divine Dioscuri, in a state of nongravitation, join at last in heaven their childhood companion: Velazquez "Christ" next to the Ideal Father at last re-found in a reconciliation, Love and Eternity.
