A mouse lost his home during a winter storm so he found a gingerbread house to live in. The gingerbread house was in a human home. It was Christmas eve and Santa Claus stop by to drop off presents and he knew that the mouse couldn't live in the gingerbread house forever so he gave him a small house just for the mouse.

It is a cute Christmas book to read to kids. The kids can enjoy making gingerbread mouses/house after reading this book.
On a snowy winter's night, Mouse is snug in her bed . . . Then—crack!—a tree branch falls and destroys her house. Now Mouse must find a new place to live. With determination, resourcefulness, and some help from Santa, Mouse finds not only another house but also a place she can truly call home.
