Grand Circle Adventure: The Story Behind the Scenery (English Edition)

This book has an interesting concept. It includes what many similar local tourist books of it's thin, tall design like a bunch of photos and short descriptions. However, instead of focusing on just a specific region, it travels. From the Grand Canyon to Lake Powell to Monument Valley to Mesa Verde--this book's four corners--and all the parks in between, you get a road trip complete with directions. These are places I visited as a kid, so for me there's also nostalgia value and a wish to do it again properly.
