This book is about a chick and a duckling. The chick follows the duckling along on all of his adventures, but finally realizes that they are different and that it's okay to do different activities.

I recommend this book to the primary classrooms. It is a fun, simple, bright, and has words throughout the book to help explain what they are doing. This book is encouraging to kids to try new things, but realize not everything is made for everyone! People will thrive in different activities!

This book could be used as a read aloud, or available to students during independent reading time. I think the book could be utilized to help students realize that it's okay to be different and that they don't have to make every decision based on someone else.

Cute book with with a bit of a surprise ending. It's not the greatest but my son loves it, second time we checked it out and he remembered it from quite awhile ago. ( )
