Mrs. Wishy-Washy

In Mrs. Wishy-Washy, there is a cow, a pig, and a duck and they all like to play in the mud but Mrs. Wishy-Washy doesn't like it. So she cleaned them one by one, but they didn't stay clean long. I really enjoyed this book even though it was rather short because it reminded me of my first grade teacher who dressed up as Mrs. Wishy-Washy while she read the book. One idea I got from this is actually what my first grade teacher did, it's a really good idea because it will keep the students attention. Another idea that can correspond with the first idea would be that the students dress up as a cow, a pig, or a duck and interact while I would be reading the book.

This story is so much fun to read along! the story is very simple and repetitive, so most children can retell it themselves after only a few readings. Makes a great story to act out.

Mrs. Wishy-Washy is about a bunch of farm animals that keep getting dirty even after they take a bath.

I liked this book because of the humor and it is relatable to many kids. I would use this in my teaching to have a fun, humorous book to read to my students.

The age group this is appropriate for would be 4-8 years old. The theme is that you can always have fun in life.

"Mrs. Wishy-Washy" is about a woman and her farm animals and they get extremely dirty. She gives them all a bath, and afterward they roll in the mud again.

I actually don't think I would use this book in my classroom. The idea is fairly simple and easy to understand but I can't think of a lesson i'd use it with.

Ms Wishy-Washy is a colorful picture book for new readers. The cow, pig, and duck see the mud, and they wade, roll, and waddle in it. Ms Wishy-Washy then scrubs each animal clean.
The book presents one word change per page and gives the new reader enough repetitions so that the reader learns the repeated words. The illustrations are marvelous.

Mrs. Wishy-Washy is a book about a lady who washes all of her animals which then afterwards they go roll back in the mud. I like this book just because it is funny and would give students a good laugh because they may be able to relate to it. I recommend this book for ages K-2.

Mrs. Wishy-Washy loves to wash and clean things. She comes across lots of animals which include a cow, pig, and duck who are all dirty and so she decides to clean them all up. But the animals don't end up staying clean for long. This book is great for young children.
