This is another poem by Poe that's meaning is deeply rooted to wanting to dream innocently and without pull to the real world, but the real world causes storms and Poe's narrator fights the urge to meet worldly expectations or to indulge in more dreaming. "Introduction" is also not unusual for comparing childhood with sunny weather and nature to age and reality as storms. It's an easy sentiment to relate to.
