Bruce M. Metzger was the George L. Collard Professor of New Testament Language and Literature at Princeton Theological Seminary. One of the world's best-known scholars on the text of the New Testament, he wrote or edited more than thirty books and chaired the NRSV translation committee. David A. Desilva, an elder in The United Methodist Church, show more attended Princeton University and Princeton Theological Seminary, and earned his Ph.D. in Religion at Emory University. He currently serves as Trustees' Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Greek at Ashland Theological Seminary.
