Good Luck Bear

Greg Foley draws the most expressive bear with the sparest illustrations. Little Bear spends his day looking for good luck, but with the help of his mouse friend he realizes that luck is what you make it.

This book is about a bear who is loking for a four leaf clover. He talks to a mouse, monkey, turtle, elephant, groundhog, squirrel, and bunny. He asks all of his friends of they have seen a four leaf clover, becaue they are lucky, and he is told by the monkey that there is no such thing. This does not stop bear from looking though. He asks all of his friends to help him look and at the end of the story mouse finds a five leaf clover for bear and himself. Great story!

I would use this book as a worship lesson for k-2nd grade. I would use this book to talk about that in the world people thing they need to find good luck, but when God is in our lives, we don't need luck because He blesses us.
