What a weird collection of statues and this book does such a good job of giving just enough information about them to quench my interests. I liked this book.
A book filled with photographs of armadillos in different life stages and elements. Very informative text, which is brief and to-the-point. Most of the pages highlight one word and define the vocabulary lower on the page. Each page offers a full photograph with text on the opposite page with a note describing the photograph. I love the layout of this book, as it is child-friendly and information is clear and concise.
This book was engaging and very informational. The vocabulary and text size was clear and easy to read. The pictures on the pages were unique because they were pictures you might not see if you were to see manatees in the wild. This book also had a neat little story in the back about how manatees are said to be related to mermaids.
On the Farm contains the following farm animals: cows, chickens, ducks, horses, sheep, and pigs. Overall, I liked it. A parent can read the text, make animal sounds, or have a child interact with the sounds once they learn it. It would be an excellent book to learn about baby animals or reinforce animal sounds. I also like the locations on each page. It's a little extra information to increase vocabulary. Finally, the images are beautiful and, most importantly, realistic.
