Each page has a spread on a certain topic such as where animals live, pollution problems, forests in danger, save our seas, city living, and endangered wildlife among other topics. Each topic has an activity for an individual or class to do as a whole. The activities purposes are to highlight and show more emphasize the lesson of the chapter.
The book has pictures and illustrations that make the book visually appealing. The illustrations have labels and many of the topics use diagrams to help illustrate the point of the topic.
This book has a lot of information but it is divided into chapters that make it easy to follow. The topics all have to do with nature but they cover a wide array of topics so the book would be useful throughout the school year for a student. The activities would be easy and fun to do, and the materials could be found in any home or classroom. show less

Cute and interesting. If you are a cat owner there is not a lot here that is new but it will confirm a lot of what you already know. It held my interest and had great pictures. If you are new to cats this will be a good primer.
The life cycles of Bees and wasps are explained in logical progression. The photos are BEAUTIFUL and the web of bees and wasps insects is enhanced in ways that help children replace fear with knowledge. Good vocab builder.
