Cheri J. Meiners’ picture book shows ways of how to be polite, kind, courteous, and respectful to others. This teaches young readers about values and good manners. The illustrations are colorful, fun pictures, and they present diversity.

This book shows children ways to be polite and kind. For example saying excuse me or helping taking in the groceries inside the house. This book teaches children some examples of polite phrases to say when speaking to someone. This book is great for ages 2-5 years old.

This book shows students how to interact appropriately with others by using polite words and actions. It gives the students examples of what to do in certain situations.
Reflection: This book would be great to group with a lesson on being polite and working well with others. This is a book that can continue to be read to students throughout the school year.
