The fourth in this series that chronicles the adventures of Urchin, the squirrel. In this novel the animals of Mistmantle face and invasion of their island from ravens, intent on ruling all of the islands.

Once again Urchin, King Crispin, Queen Cedar and all the other brave citizens are tested. The creative thinking in strategizing their battle plans saves the day. However, as the story ends, it seems that Mistmantle will be facing a time of change and sorrow.

I have very much enjoyed this series and am looking forward to future stories. The characters are noble, brave and extremely likable. The reader shares in their trials, tribulations and cheers for them when they are victorious. Very good animal fantasy for those who enjoy this genre.
